Rated four and a half stars by Golf Digest, this is the oldest golf course in the South! The oak trees alone are more than 200 years old. Audubon was completely redesigned in 2002. Water hazards come into play on several holes. Though it is a par 62, don’t let that fool you! Audubon is a test of skill, which both beginner and avid golfer can enjoy.
Located in beautiful and historic Audubon Park just minutes from downtown New Orleans. Audubon Park is on the St. Charles Avenue streetcar line, across from Tulane University and among some of the most beautiful homes in uptown New Orleans.
The Park was the site of the 1884 World's Fair, and world famous Audubon Zoo is located across the street from the golf course. Readers of Golf Digest say Audubon Park Golf Course in New Orleans is the top "100 years or older" course in the country.
Golf Digest Best Places To Play states that this is "the most scenic and interesting golf in New Orleans." "The renovations are first class." It's "not as easy as it looks" and the "unique" layout "allows for quick play." Audubon measures 4,220 yards from the tips. It is a perfect course to get in a quick round or to hone your skills before your other rounds.
18 hole layout includes six par 3's, ten par 4's and two par 5's.
