If you are planning to stay in the French Quarter
/ Downtown area and only playing a round or two, you can get
by without a rental car by using taxi cabs. Courses convenient
by taxi are
Stonebridge,
Timberlane,
English Turn,
TPC,
Bayou Barriere, and
Chateau.
If you want to play
several
courses, especially some of the premium courses, which are located
across Lake Ponchartrain, then a rental car is recommended. Keep
in mind that there are daily parking fees at most hotels.
In either case,
ground transportation to and from the hotel to the courses
via van or mini bus for groups of four or more can also be arranged with your package.
