Water comes into play on ten of the eighteen holes, making Belle Terre a scenic challenge. The fairways are Bermuda with Tif-Dwarf greens. Belle Terre has been the host to many golf events including the Louisiana State Golf Association Tournament, Louisiana State Amateur Championship, Louisiana State Seniors Championship, and PGA Tour Qualifying Stop.  Slope rating of 130 from the tips. Soft spikes only facility.

  Rental Car in New Orleans - Need one or not?

  If you are planning to stay in the French Quarter / Downtown area and only playing a round or two, you can get by without a rental car by using taxi cabs.   If you want to play several courses, especially some of the premium courses, which are located across Lake Ponchartrain, then a rental car is recommended. Keep in mind that there are daily parking fees at most hotels.   In either case, ground transportation to and from the hotel to the courses via van or mini bus can also be arranged with your package.
