Badlands Golf Club is the epitome of a target desert golf course set
amid the natural desert habitat. With four sets of tees to choose from,
the golf course offers an exciting challenge to the casual golfer as
well as the experienced player. This resort has three nine hole
courses that can be played in three eighteen hole combinations. The
courses were all designed by Johnny Miller with consultation from Chi
Chi Rodriguez and features spectacular terrain and breathtaking views.
This original Desperado/Diablo Course is a desert-style layout that puts
a premium on placement shots. Only ninety-five acres on this course are
planted with grass. The main focus of the design centers on the natural
scenery of the desert. The fairways afford generous landing areas, if
you choose the right club. Generally the greens are medium-sized, but
some of them are small. A lake comes into play on only one hole. All
eighteen holes have their own unique characteristics. The local pro
states that every hole is a signature hole. There are many grass and
sand bunkers incorporated into the course's design, but very few trees.

I-95 north to the Summerlin exit. Summerlin Rd. to Rampart. Left on
Rampart to Alta Dr. turn right on Alta; 1/4 mile on the left.
Season:
365 day season; minimal rain; high temperatures range from 50
degrees to 110 degrees.
