GOLF

This resort was named by "GOLF Magazine" to its 1998 list of "Silver Medal Resorts." The resort has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. The Canyon Course is the newest addition and it backs against the mountains, similar to the layout of the older Desert Course. The Oasis Course has more water than the other two courses, and has a tropical appearance. All three provide scenic views of the desert and the mountains. Homer Flint has redesigned these courses.

The Phoenician is located at the base of Camelback Mountain in Scottsdale's Valley of the Sun, only nine miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. To reach The Phoenician take Sky Harbor Boulevard to 44th Street and turn left. At Camelback Road, turn right and follow to Jokake Boulevard, then turn left into The Phoenician.
